U. S. Travel Association representative to speak at Empire State Tourism Conference

Albany, New York - Don’t miss out on attending the 2012 Empire State Tourism Conference, March 6-8, 2012, at the Marriott Hotel, Albany, New York. The conference is hosted by the New York State Travel & Vacation Association (NYSTVA). The conference theme is, “The Power of the Tourism Industry.” Conference details are available at www.nystva.org.

One of the many reasons to attend is to hear Nan Marchand Beauvois, Senior Director National Council Relations & General Manager of ESTO, of the U.S. Travel Association speak about the state of the travel industry.

On Wednesday, March 7, Nan Marchand Beauvois will be featured at the General Session and speak about the travel spectrum from the “Lost Decade” to President Obama’s Executive Order for a National Travel and Tourism Strategy, travel’s impact on the nation’s economy, the importance of business travel and the meetings industry, and the economic opportunities that exist if barriers to travel were eliminated.
