Busy consumer travel shows this past weekend in Cleveland, OH and Springfield, MA generated plenty of traffic as travel intenders were drawn to the colorful new Tourism Champions booth display(s). The growing event schedule has made it necessary to invest in a second backdrop and rack system!
Last Sunday, NYSTIA attended the AAA Travel Cleveland Vacation Expo. Over 1,000 attendees came through the expo, wanting to learn about New York State destinations, primarily looking for unique experiences and family-friendly adventures. The Dream Destinations Travel Show in Springfield was also a great success, with steady traffic and interest expressed in each region of New York. Many of the visitors were looking for a close proximity weekend trip to NY which for them meant the Capital region and the Hudson Valley.
We had a corner booth next to the expo entrance flanked by other New York attractions, making it easy to draw in attendees. We continued to have positive feedback on our booth design and layout as attendees explored all the different aspects of the booth.
