Join us on Thursday morning in Saratoga Springs at the 2024 NYSTIA Meeting where Sara Poe, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Guest Experiences at The Strong National Museum of Play will be presenting their award winning project, Play Strong: A Canadian Marketing Initiative.

The grand opening of The Strong National Museum of Play’s 90,000 sq. ft. expansion on June 30, 2023 was the apex of 5+ years of work to expand our audience into the Golden Horseshoe region of Ontario, Canada. Included in this multi-year marketing campaign was over $1M in targeted paid advertising, public relations initiatives, and strategic social media outreach. The 2023 culmination of our efforts was a 200% year-over-year growth in museum guests from this geographic hotspot!

Why You Should Attend This Session:

  • The U.S. Travel Association estimates that the average spend by each Canadian visitor is $980. When guests visit the museum, they do more than just pay admission, they stay in our hotels, eat in our restaurants and visit our other local attractions!
