Take the time to recognize the people and the efforts that are truly making a difference in our industry and in our state!
As we finally move into Spring here in New York State it is exciting to see Tourism opening back up for summer, we have a formidable collection of Fall and Winter Tourism destinations and attractions and now it's time for our Spring/Summer destinations to get ready!
But as a member of the 2019 Excellence In Tourism Awards committee, I want to remind everyone that it is also time to submit your nominations!
I will keep my note brief as your time is short and you should really be away from the computer meeting our Guests that visit New York State every year or simply enjoying yourself on a staycation.
The Excellence in Tourism Awards are our opportunity to recognize the amazing work you and your colleagues do each and every day to bring more than 50 million visitors a year to New York State. Please make sure you take the time to nominate a great program, project or person. Perhaps it's a campaign or attraction moved you personally? Perhaps it's something you launched online or via social media? Perhaps its someone that you admire and think they hold the spirit of Tourism & Hospitality in everything they do?
