Maria Sheetz is the Senior Director of Media Solutions at Amadeus Global Destinations. She works to support DMOs and state tourism offices in the United States and Canada with Amadeus' offerings including data and market intelligence and media solutions to drive profitable revenue to the destination through digital marketing. Prior to Amadeus, she worked as a Senior Director, Partner Development at Brand USA. In that capacity Maria managed the relationships with tourism boards, DMOs, hotels and attractions to deliver international marketing programs helping drive inbound international travel to many US destinations. Earlier in her career, Maria held previous leadership roles in marketing partnerships, sales and marketing at Choice Hotels International.
Maria is married and is a mom to three teenage children who keep her busy. She enjoys the sun and slopes, so you can find her at the beach in the summer and skiing in the winter months. She's also fond of dogs and has a rescue Boston Terrier named Harper. She enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling and running.
Maria is excited to be back with NYSTIA in her role with Amadeus. She has previously been involved with many New York state DMOs during her tenure at Brand USA helping them achieve increased visitation from international visitors.
