Meet Steve Fox, the Regional Manager for Travel & Tourism in Western Massachusetts and throughout New England for The Republican newspaper and MassLive.com, a division of Advance Media located in Springfield, MA. Steve has over 10 years of Travel and Tourism experience and started at Tribune Publishing in Hartford, CT. He has been helping his clients in NY drive the New England audience to their counties, attractions and resorts for many years. He introduced and grew the Travel Shows for the Company year after year. He has continued to serve many of his past clients since beginning his new position in Springfield in June 2019.
Steve specializes in print advertising for newspapers and magazines, digital solutions and e-blast marketing campaigns that target preferred audiences including those interested in visiting New York State. Steve also specializes in creating customized promotional packages as part of two annual Travel Shows held at the new MGM Resort in Springfield, Massachusetts. The shows are timed seasonally to align with interests in Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter by travel enthusiasts. The travel show packages are loaded with benefits including added value components tailored to the participant's investment.
Growing up in Connecticut and now living in Western Massachusetts, Steve was a fixture in professional sports for over 10 years where he owned and operated men's and women's basketball teams and a women's soccer team. His women's basketball team featured Hall of Fame and WNBA players from UCONN and played at Mohegan Sun Casino and Resort and the Springfield Civic Center.
