New Member Introduction: Rob Montana from Visit Ithaca

Rob Montana is the Communications Manager for Visit Ithaca. As Communications Manager, he handles media outreach, FAM trip itineraries, and content creation. 

Visit Ithaca is a division of the Tompkins Chamber, the Tompkins County Convention & Visitors Bureau is the official Destination Management Organization for Tompkins County. They work with the Strategic Tourism Planning Board, an advisory board to the Tompkins County Legislature, to support the county’s strategic tourism plan goals in fostering a healthy economy and a vibrant destination and improving the quality of life in Tompkins County.

Rob is a new member at NYSTIA and recently attended his first event, the 2023 Annual Meeting.

He enjoys the outdoors with his family, including hiking, camping, and boating. He's also an avid baseball fan and enjoys craft cider, especially from the Finger Lakes region.

Rob is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America and Destinations International.
