Joe Turkel is the President and Group Publisher of Globelite Travel Marketing - DreamScapes Travel & Lifestyle Magazine, which publishes print and digital magazines focusing on the travel and tourism sectors. Their goal is to produce high-quality publications designed to engage and inspire their readers and create value for their clients.
He is excited to become a new member of NYSTIA.
Out of the office, Joe's interests are sports, music, theatre and opera and he enjoys daily walks. Given his background, he enjoys traveling all over the world which he has been doing with his wife Judi for over 50 years.
Joe grew up in Montreal and following his graduation from McGill University, he completed his MBA at the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania. Upon his graduation, he joined Air Canada and had a 25-year career in various senior management positions, after which he took early retirement and started his publishing company.
