Carla Kolbe is the Tourism Coordinator for Fulton County New York. Her responsibilities will be to oversee the county’s tourism consisting of coordinating publicity and communications for visitors, initializing events, providing resources to local businesses, and supporting the growth of the county.
As a former public relations spokesperson, her responsibilities ranged from marketing campaigns, press releases, special reports, social media, web updating, coordinating events, and graphic art. Carla hopes to use these experiences to promote Fulton County even further.
The mission of Fulton County Tourism is to enhance local tourism by working together with the communities, businesses, and organizations, sharing the great events, stories and adventures happening in Fulton County.
Carla is a Fulton County native, living with her husband and family. She is also a small business owner with a boutique in Northville, New York. She loves being creative and artistic, she's a downhill ski instructor, and craves being outside. Her interests include skiing, snowshoeing, boating, kayaking, hiking, bike rides, walking her dogs, and art and music events.

"Fulton County is truly a phenomenal tourist attraction location with its 44 lakes, 74,000 miles of wilderness, many allures, interesting history and special events. One month into the job I was lucky enough to attend my first NYSTIA conference in Oswego. The connections I made and the information I received from the many presenters have given me an insightful start to sharing to all Fulton County’s amazing story. So glad to be a part of this team!”
