New Member Introduction: Bob Stivers at Stivers Seneca Marine & Finger Lakes Water Adventures

Bob Stivers is the owner of Stivers Seneca Marine & Finger Lakes Water Adventures, two companies passionate about promoting activity on Seneca Lake and the Cayuga Seneca Canal. Bob has lived, worked, and played on these waters for over 20 years and is passionate about sharing their little slice of heaven with the world.

Stivers Seneca Marine and Finger Lakes Water Adventures provides water activities in the Finger Lakes, primarily on Seneca Lake. They offer daily boat rentals, over 18 Pontoon, and Powerboat in their fleet, and a 50-passenger tour boat is offering public and private tours all summer long. Finger Lakes Water Adventures also offers paddle board, bike, and Kayak rentals, and also has a few vacation rental accommodations including two lake houses, a second-floor apartment overlooking Seneca Lake and the Canal, and a fantastic floating houseboat.

Stivers Seneca Marine Finger Lakes Water Adventures has participated in the New York State Power Authority (NYPA) On The Canals Recreation Program for the past two years and are currently applying for the 2023 program. They have also worked with NYSTIA through Canal NY.

Bob is active outside Finger Lakes Water Adventures, participating in various organizations including Canal NY, the Finger Lakes Regional Heritage Council, Geneva BID, the Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union, Waterloo Economic Development Committee, and the National Lake Trout Derby. He also enjoys being involved in downtown revitalization projects, and is currently working on some Waterloo projects after finishing the many in Geneva.

He grew up on the water, which is where he spends most of his time. When Bob is not working, he enjoys everything on the water, including taking his grandkids out to enjoy Seneca Lake, tubing and fishing.
