Singing the Same Song: Advocating for our Industry
Join us at the 2025 NYS Tourism Conference on the afternoon of April 23 for a featured session with Josiah Brown, the New York Sherpa at New York’s Best Experiences. In today’s landscape, it is more important than ever for tourism professionals to be clearly understood—and for residents, elected officials, and industry stakeholders to recognize and advocate for the essential role our work plays in shaping vibrant, resilient communities. This session will explore strategies to build greater awareness, support, and respect for our industry’s impact.

- We believe that if you have a personalized recommendation about what you love to do you just might check it out.
- We also believe that if you find out a place is famous for what you love, you will check it out.
We try to speak in the language of why these places are famous and make a recommendation of what you should check out there.
