About the Presenter:
Geoff Lacher is a senior data analyst at Rove where he works to bring clarity to complex issues facing DMOs. Geoff currently manages a variety of consulting engagements focusing on the visitor spending, international travel, and DMO data management. He has experience working on DMO budget analyses, cost-benefit studies, event impact research, and other custom research projects. Geoff frequently speaks at association events and board meetings on topics including tourism’s economic impacts, international tourism, and best practices in tourism research.
Prior to joining Rove, Geoff worked as an economist/consultant with Tourism Economics and as an assistant professor at Arizona State University. Geoff received a BA from Emory University, an MS from Texas A&M University, and a PhD from Clemson University.
