The Empire State of Pride Conference, New York State’s inaugural conference for Pride organizers, will be held on Friday, November 8th in Syracuse. This one-day event is designed to support the LGBTQ community across the state by offering opportunities for learning, networking, and collaboration among organizers and advocates. Pride organizers from all regions of New York State are invited to attend, and all who are interested in empowering LGBTQ communities are welcome.
Since the Stonewall Riots, New York State’s LGBTQ community has grown significantly in both presence and influence. Pride celebrations have multiplied across the state, taking place year-round and serving as important catalysts for economic growth, tourism, and the creation of welcoming, affirming communities. The Empire State of Pride Conference aims to help these communities seize new opportunities and enhance their skills, ensuring the continued success and visibility of Pride events throughout New York State.
