Melaine Rottkamp will serve as a DestinationNEXT Panelist / Presenter at the 2022 New York State Tourism Conference in White Plains. Dutchess Tourism is currently engaged in evaluating and updating their DestinationNEXT initiative and strategy, which was launched 2018. Berkeley Young of Young Strategies will moderate the panel.
Melaine is a certified destination management executive who has worked passionately since 2011 to support and highlight more than 1,200 tourism-related businesses and organizations in Dutchess County.
As President & CEO, she focuses on data-driven strategies to manage Dutchess Tourism's advertising and marketing efforts to aggressively promote the county as a premiere leisure and business destination, attracting travelers from across the globe. She also oversees their business support and outreach programs including educational seminars, conferences, networking, and recognition events. Dutchess Tourism was proud to be recognized with a 2021 Tourism Excellence Award from NYSTIA for Most Significant COVID-Related Impact in Support of a Community and Local Business.
Melaine has shared her expertise as a presenter at regional, state and international tourism conferences providing insight, successful strategies, and encouraging collaborations as pathways toward success for destination organizations and tourism businesses.
