Dutchess County Tourism is inviting our community to support our local service industry and give a #DutchessAirFive!
As the officially designated DMO for Dutchess County, we were asked by our local leadership for ideas on an initiative to support our local service industry. We discussed ideas among staff and came up with a virtual way to celebrate National High Five Day on April 16.
Dutchess Air Five encourages the community show their appreciation for their favorite businesses by purchasing gift cards for later use, shopping online stores and participating in virtual experiences, and sharing 5-star reviews online about past experiences with small businesses like hotels, restaurants, attractions and more. (see below)

How it Works
We're encouraging all of Dutchess County to show appreciation for our local service industry, with support in the following ways:
- Purchase gift cards (online or over-the-phone) for later use.
- Shop online stores or participate in virtual experiences.
- Share 5-star love with favorite businesses by posting stellar reviews on Tripadvisor, Yelp, Google and on their own sites
Promote the initiative on your social platforms using a graphic we've provided on our website. Help make this initiative go viral locally! LEARN MORE HERE.
