Oct 18, 2024

Oktoberfest Charity Block Party Adds Extra Hour, Announces Vendors

After a successful three-day Lake George Village Oktoberfest, Adirondack Brewery is continuing Oktoberfest season with the block party of the year located on Sewell Street in Lake George. Organizers added an extra hour to this year’s Adirondack Oktoberfest Charity Block Party and have doubled the vendors from last year.

Over Columbus Day Weekend, Adirondack Brewery began raising money for the Ben Osborn Memorial Fund in the first phase of an Oktoberfest fundraising campaign that continues with the Oktoberfest Charity Block Party on Saturday, Oct. 19. It’s estimated that more than 10,000 people attended the Lake George Village Oktoberfest, keeping the village bustling and offering entertainment over the long weekend despite Sunday’s rain. This year set an attendance record and was up from last year’s estimated 4,000 people.

18th Annual Oktoberfest Charity Block Party

Date: Saturday, October 19, 2024

“It’s not just about beer. We invite other breweries, wineries, distilleries and cideries. There are options for all. Tickets also include a traditional Oktoberfest dinner. We wanted the Oktoberfest Charity Block Party to have broad appeal,” said Adirondack Brewery Owner John Carr.

In 2023, the Adirondack Brewery Oktoberfest raised more than $10,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks. Over the years Oktoberfest has raised more than $135,000 for charities.
