Job Description/Responsibilities

Alon Tourism Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Account Support professional to join our team. This full-time, remote role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, where you will play an essential part in supporting and executing Alon’s tourism client accounts.

Your efforts will contribute directly to the development of long-lasting client relationships, the creation of effective sales and marketing strategies, and representing our clients in tourism programs. Responsible for driving project tasks forward and working closely with the entire team to create a collaborative environment that fosters success for our client relationships.

As an Account Support team member, your responsibilities may include: maintaining client relationships, supporting client contracts and sales, preparing marketing materials, representing clients during tourism programs, and reporting on client project status.

Your success in this role will depend on your ability to execute effective sales strategies that align with Alon’s as well as our client’s tourism goals.

Key Activities & Duties:

  • Client Management: Oversee all aspects of client accounts, including communication, strategic planning, sales & marketing, fulfillment, and contracting.
  • Trade Events: Represent clients at tourism trade shows and events; assist with follow-up and lead maintenance.
  • Sales Support: Work with the sales manager to execute sales outreach and maintain client relationships.
  • Reporting: Provide regular status updates to the president and general manager on client progress and events.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Alon team on all aspects of client projects.
  • Other Duties: Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed and within the scope of your role.

Qualifications

Experience & Education:

  • Education: Associate degree
  • Experience: Minimum four years in sales, marketing, account management, or a similar role
  • Preferred Experience: Hospitality, tourism, event planning, sales, consulting, marketing, branding, or customer relationship management
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), email marketing software, and excellent organizational skills

Starting Salary: $40,000 – $50,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM - 5:30PM EST
