Nate Gresock - Programs Coordinator

As the Consumer Programs Coordinator at NYSTIA, Nate manages the Tourism Champions community and all consumer travel show and outreach programming. He is also the primary staff liaison for the membership committee and Canal New York Marketing and Business Alliance Inc. He also helps manage our membership database, and updates the events calendar and job postings on the NYSTIA website.

Nate Gresock is ideally suited for his primary role as NYSTIA's spokesperson for New York State Tourism at travel shows and events across the northeastern United States and neighboring Canada. Nate's 14 years of experience in various roles promoting New York State destinations to visitors, combined with his passion for his home state, resonate with consumers. Nate is at his best when he is sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with travel intenders.

Nate resides in a suburb of Syracuse, New York. He received his associate's degree in sports and tourism studies, with a concentration in tourism, from Finger Lakes Community College in 2008. In 2010, he earned his bachelor's in business administration in hospitality management, with a concentration in tourism management, from SUNY Delhi.

Since graduating, Nate has worked as a Brand Ambassador promoting I Love NY and other New York State destinations, as a Sales Executive and Visitor Center Manager with the Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance, and as a visitor services representative with Visit Syracuse. He joined NYSTIA full-time in January of 2022.

Nate is passionate about destination storytelling, constantly connecting with members to update his knowledge and always ready to share his knowledge with potential visitors. He has a knack for getting potential consumers excited about exploring New York State, discovering new destinations and crafting their own story! 

In his spare time, Nate reviews coffee shops on Instagram as the Traveler Caffeine as a hobby.
